Accessibility policy
Last updated: October 30, 2026
1. Our commitment
Jora Mechanical Systems is committed to providing services in a way that respects the dignity and independence of people with disabilities, and to meeting the requirements of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA) and its Customer Service Standard.
2. Assistive devices
Customers may use their own assistive devices when dealing with us. Our technicians will make sure equipment and work areas do not block access, and will tidy cords and tools when visiting your home.
3. Service animals and support persons
Service animals are welcome wherever our customers are served. A customer may be accompanied by a support person at any time.
4. Communication
We will communicate in a way that takes a person's disability into account — for example by phone, email, text message or in writing — and we can explain quotes in plain language. Documents, including this policy, are available in an accessible format or with communication supports on request.
5. Temporary service disruptions
If our phone line, website or services are temporarily unavailable, we will post a notice on this website explaining the reason, how long we expect the disruption to last and other ways to reach us.
6. Training
Our team is trained on providing accessible customer service, including how to interact with people who use assistive devices, service animals or support persons.
7. Website accessibility
We design this website to work with screen readers and keyboards, with readable text, clear contrast and descriptive labels, and we work toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 Level AA. If any part of the site is hard to use, please tell us and we will help you another way.
8. Feedback
We welcome feedback about how we provide accessible service. Email info@joramechanicalsystems.com, call us at 905-667-2823 or send a message through the chat on this website. We will respond as soon as possible, in a format that works for you.
